Ass Whooping Time

He slowly peeled his eyes open. A quick look of shock passed over his face. He covered it up by swiping a hand over his face. I stared at him. I also realized that we were both naked. I tried to non-chalantly cover myself up with the covers. He noticed and smirked. I cleared my throat.

"So," I started then stopped. I had nothing to say.

"Yea?" he stretched out. I noticed something poking out from the covers. It was my time to smirk.

"What?" he said defensively, "It's morning."

"Well I can help with that," did I just say that? He turned around and we did the dirty… again. Michelle is going to kill me.

"We can't let Michelle know,"

"That'll be easy. It's not like we'll see each other every day," he shrugged.

"True, just making sure we were on the same page," I said. I then grabbed a shirt from the floor and threw it on. I got out of the bed and pulled my jeans on. I crouched down and started looking for my underwear.

"Looking for these?" Daniel asked smirking.

"Give those here," I snapped.

"Give me my shirt back." I looked down at what I was wearing. Oops. I took it off and tossed it to him grabbing my bra in the process. I hooked it on and went about looking for my shirt. Daniel started getting dressed too.

"Well I had a nice time," I held out my hand, "let's never do this again." He gave me a funny look. Did I mention I said this in a horrible Australian accent?

"You're weird," he laughed. We hugged before parting ways. I walked around the passed out kids trying to find Michelle. I finally found her passed out in her car. Luckily the door was unlocked. I hopped in and poked her face. She woke up and punched me in the arm.

"Ouch!" I feigned like I was dying. When she didn't laugh I sat up straight and asked, "So can I take a shower at your house before we go to church?" She nodded and started up the engine. Off to go cleanse myself of my sins.

School on Monday was boring. Everyone was getting ready for finals the following week. I didn't have much to worry about. I didn't take any really challenging classes, except maybe forensics, which I had with Michelle. The bell rang pulling me out of my thoughts. I ran out of the room before Michelle could catch up to me. I was trying to avoid her. I couldn't look at her without feeling guilty. Which sucked because I really wanted to tell her about Herr Stevens and Seth and the gay bar. I walked off to English. I couldn't wait for German. I got to stare at Mr. Stevens all hour. As I walked in to the class I announced to everyone about my swim meet after school. Clever right?

"Oh Gabi you have a swim meet tonight?" Mr. Stevens said right on cue.

"Yepp," I sashayed to my desk in the back of the room. "You should totally come see me!"

"Ok I'll try," he said. I tried to contain my joy. My plan was working, even if it was at a slow pace.

I sat back in my chair as the late bell rang and Mr. Stevens started the lesson. As I sat listening to him lecture the class about finals and what the test was on, I decided to see how many times he would make eye contact with me. I stared at him with rapt attention. It's been five times so far. Maybe it was because he noticed me staring? I looked down at my desk looking out from my eyelashes. He looked my way twice. I decided I would rather look at him. I leaned forward staring at him. He looked my way three more times. I feigned interest in what he was talking about. Ok I was a little interested. I actually liked German. I did however need to study so I could impress him with an A on the final. I stared my brains out wanting him to look at me. He finally looked and held my eye contact for a whole thirty seconds before looking away. I counted. I opened my notebook and wrote it down. I was going to keep a journal on my progress.

Herr Stevens must've thought I was taking notes because he said, "Look at Gabi taking notes for the final. You should all be doing that." I felt guilty because I wasn't. So I started actually taking notes.

We broke in to groups and I would look like a jerk if I didn't pair up with Michelle. Strangely enough Ben decided to sit with us. I looked over my shoulder to see one of Katie's friends staring us down. Yikes. I didn't even know why he was sitting with us. I nudged Michelle in the side and told her. She smirked to herself and shrugged it off. I looked again and saw her texting.

"Is there something you guys aren't telling me?" I asked. They looked at each other then at me and shook their heads. "Whatever," I got up and went up to Herr Stevens' desk and leaned over asking him to help me with a question. He did and then sent me back telling me that I was smart enough to do them on my own. I was. I just needed excuses to talk to him.

"Ok class, you can have a bathroom break," he announced as he got up to go wherever he goes during breaks. While everyone got up to go get a drink and socialize, I stayed in the class and played my favorite game. Hide Mr. Stevens' things. I looked around the classroom. Aha! I spotted a beach ball. He used it to play popcorn-reading games with us. I took it and started wrapping tape all over it. Michelle entered the room right as I got up on my desk.

"What the hell are you doing?" she asked.

"Trying to keep this up," I replied. I was balancing the tape on my knee and holding a German flag in my hands. "Help me?" She groaned and took the tape and started handing me pieces. I managed to tape it behind the flag, warn all my classmates not to tell him, and sit back down in my desk before Mr. Stevens walked back in the classroom. I went through the rest of the class anticipating him noticing. He didn't. The bell rang and I was about to leave when Mr. Stevens called out for me to stay. Did he notice? No. He wanted to talk to me about the German trip.

"Gabi," Mr. Stevens said in a scolding tone, "you haven't made the last two payments for the German trip."

"I've been meaning to talk to you about that. I got paid yesterday," I said pulling my wallet out and taking out a few crisp bills, "here you go, this should cover the last two and the next one."

"Thank you Gabi, tell Michelle that she needs to make this last payment please."

"Wait why couldn't you tell her before she left?" I asked. I hoped it was because he'd rather talk to me.

"She left before I could," he explained.

"Oh. Okay!" I said as I once again gathered my things up to leave.

"And," he added, "If you need help with anything you can always ask."

"I'll keep that in mind," I said over my shoulder as I left. I tried acting like I didn't care. But I did. I ran and tried catching up to Michelle and Ben who were busy walking down the hall. He stopped in front of her stats class. Hugged her and left. I stared open mouthed. I looked in the classroom and saw that Katie was doing the same. Ben was trying to make Katie jealous. Either Michelle knew that and was helping him or she didn't and Ben was going to get some serious ass whooping by yours truly. I was going to get to the bottom of this.

Afterschool I was busy getting ready for my swim meet and I didn't notice who was in the stands. I looked up right before I was about to do the 100 breaststroke. Mr. Stevens was in the stands. My heart filled with joy and I was dead set on winning.

"Swimmers take your mark. Get set. GO!" the referee yelled. I plunged in the chilly pool water. I came up and swam as fast as I could. I noticed someone ahead of me by a fraction of a second. I went under and pulled with all my might. I had one lap left and I booked it double time. I was almost there. I pulled and reached and reached and pulled. I grabbed on to the ledge of the pool. Everyone was crowded around me shouting and screaming for joy.

"You made it to state! You made it to state!" everyone was yelling to my face. I looked up in the stands to see the crowd standing and applauding. Mr. Stevens included. I got out of the pool and immediately collapsed. My legs felt like Jell-O. I lied there for a minute… or two. I finally dragged myself off the wet linoleum floor and went to go cheer on the rest of my swim mates. We won our meet. I was so excited. After the meet we all went out for ice cream, even though it was mid-December. I was going to state!
