God had a great gift that he passed on to me
And no it wasn't self humility
It wasn't vanity
Or sanity
Just compassion for humanity
It was an injection
Of direction
For full fledged affection
A motion
For devotion
Meaning a revolution
The rebellion
Of "isms"
fascism
Sexism
racism
And I say that we wont miss ism
He didn't give me normality
Or formality
But a tinge of originality
To break the chains that bind
To give me the desire to find
The open hearts of our kind
He didn't give me tranquility
Or womanly fragility
And sure as hell not conformity
A confliction
Of conviction
With the eviction
Of restriction
So I challenge you
To self preservation
the reservation
Of human kind
Because the great gift god gave me
Is that I'm color blind
