Why do we play games when we know we're going to lose in the end? And why do we turn things into games when we shouldn't?

It seems like we're either breaking someone elses heart or getting our own broken.

Which is worse?

To hurt someone immeasurably or to be crushed beyond recognition by another?

In an ideal world there would be a third option; some even believe there is already.

Love...

Can it be real? Can it last?

I used to be a believer but I can't say for sure anymore...

Maybe for some people it can be real but for others its just this sick, twisted game.

Who can make who fall first and the hardest...

If you fall in love you lose the game, but if you win the game you'll forever be alone.

I don't want to lose the game but I can't imagine being alone all of my life.

So I guess in this situation you gotta ask yourself the question,

"is it better to hurt or be hurt?"

Its hard to understand when the game is all about power and control

And love is about vulnerability and compromise.

I just don't understand why we make everything so complicated when it should be simple.
