Amidst my dark, you were the light
Melding into this heart
Although there was a wall between us
Never be too far
Desire had once strung me up
An amorous passion that I swore would erupt
My thoughts of you disappeared with time
A fleeting abstract
Recessing away; what had been strong was now small and fine
It had been strange to think that
Eventually, it would remain intact
Faintly, I hear that old flame calling
An absence that has now built into a roar
While reading, pay attention
Keep in mind, the first letter of every line
Surely your name will be revealed in due time
