A decaying shell

Hair falling out

Clothes hang loose

She's losing weight

And struggling to eat

Her joints so stiff

She struggles to walk

And talking is hard

But inside all of that

Lives a brilliant mind

And a youthful soul

Because people grow old

And many grow ill

And everyone will die

But everyone has lived a life

And everyone has seen their sights

And that will never be lost

So just remember

Inside every old or aging shell
