Chiari: Aika isn't here today! She says she needs a vacation.

Amalric: That lazy girl. It hasn't even been 5 chapters yet.

Sherry: Let her be! It's been a hectic couple of chapters.

Amalric: *scoff* Yeah, sure.

Chiari: So? Other authors have been through more problems than her...

Sherry: Whatever.

Amalric: Aika may own this particular story, but that's all she possesses

Sherry: Stop messing with the disclaimer!

We ended up in a mysterious place filled with sparkling crystals.

"Where are we?" I inquired. Well, wherever we were, it was really pretty.

"We're in the underground cave in which we find the runestones for your staff."

"Oh. I knew that."

"I'm sure you did. Let's start going to the main runestone deposit." I followed him into a tunnel.

~back at the house~

"So I brought crepes and tea..." Chiari said, trying to break the silence.

"CREPES!" Aika said and ran at the basket that Chiari was holding.

Man, she's obsessed with these things. She's always had a sweet tooth, Chiari thought.

Aika glared suspiciously at Chiari.

"You didn't put anything...weird...in these, did you?"

"I just put the usual vanilla ice cream and orange slices in them..."

"YAY!" Aika opened the basket, took a crepe out, and started eating it.

"Chiari, I don't know what life would be without these things." Aika said after she finished. Chiari took out a canteen.

As she was pouring tea into a cup for Aika, she said, "How long do you plan to live like this?"

Aika thought for a moment, even though the answer was obvious.

"I want to regain mostof my powers, but even then, I'm not sure it'll be safe out there."

"How about Sherry? Is she doing okay?"

"She's doing better than expected. But there's one little problem that's been bugging me."

"What's that?"

"Amalric is with her. Helping her." Chiari looked surprised.

"Wait...he's helping her? but why?"

"How should I know? I'm worried that he's trying to get her to help him."

"That's not good, is it?"

"Chiari, could you go check on them? They're in the runestone cave."

"Sure thing!" Chiari left and teleported to the cave.

After a few minutes of walking, we arrived at a cave full of black and white runestones. Everything sparkled despite the lack of light.

"It's so pretty..." I gasped.

"It is, isn't it? Now, you don't seem to be the type who wants destruction everywhere, so just get your 3 white runestones." Smart guy, isn't he? I went and picked up 2 relatively small ones, then got a slightly bigger one. Hey. I remember what I learn.

"Now, to complete your staff." He waved his hand and my staff was complete. A paper appeared out of thin air. Amalric snatched it up. He started to read it.

Amalric, stop following her. I hate you.~ Aika.

I started laughing. He turned slightly red.

"Well. I didn't expect that." Not so smart now, is he? Another paper flew down from thin air. I picked it up this time.

Good job! But I didn't expect that jerk to help you. Now you have to learn how to fight. Sadly, no one can teach you except for Amalric. Well, that's life.

Amalric took my hand and prepared to send us to some other place. To learn how to fight, I guess. But we saw a movement in the corner of our eyes.

"Who's there?" he asked quietly. A girl popped out behind a rock. I recognized her from my visions.

"Chiari?" She looked surprised.

"You know me?" I nodded.

"Why are you here?" asked Amalric.

"To check on you two for Aika." She replied merrily. "Glad you two seem to be okay." And with that, she left. Sheesh.

"Okay. NOW we leave." Amalric said. Yeah, there's another .

"So how did it go, Chiari?" Aika asked, still sipping tea.

"They were all friendly and stuff. I think he likes her or something." Aika spit out her tea.

"WHAT?! That jerk..." She waved her hand and a small piece of paper and a pen appeared. She started to furiously scribble on the paper. She spoke as she wrote.

"Stop...being...such...a...jerk...You...love...Sherry...I...can...see...you... DONE!" Chiari was just watching and laughing on the inside. Aika really does like him, she thought. Aika waved her hand and the message was sent.

"Okay, now we watch." Aika said, feeling proud of herself.

~You guessed it! Line Break!~

"Where are we now?" I asked, staring at an open grassy field.

"This is called the Plains. We train here." That's such an original name. Really. I love it.

"Stop being sarcastic." He said, annoyed. A paper fluttered by next to him.

"Another note? So quickly?" He sounded suspicious. His eyes quickly scanned through it and his face turned red.

"What does it say?" I was curious.

"N...nothing...HEY!" I snatched it away and read it. I froze and felt my cheeks go red.

"W...what is this madness?" I said, averting my eyes from him.

"I...don't...know..." was his reply.

D...did he really like me?!

Aika: CLIFFHANGER~

Audience: AGAIN?! You've been doing this for a while now!

Aika: Yeah so? I'm the author!

Audience: *charges*

Aika: *runs* Help me! Q.Q

Amalric: WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS CHAPTER?! *is still blushing*
