A simple man

With a simple family

With only a single concern.

The well being of his children.

The days passed with his family,

Skin deep everything seemed right as rain,

Twas only a facade.

Everything was wrong,

But the man didn't want to show it.

Tensions rose,

Affairs blossomed,

Wounds bled.

No longer could he feel his children were safe,

With a woman who had no concern of herself,

Who did not love him as a wife should.

The love between them scattered into the wind.

And so the man wandered,

Looking to his children for strength.

Though young and full of life,

They were still too young for this pain.

But no matter what may come to him,

He protects his children,

He guides their lives,

He loves who they are,

For he is a true family man.
