Another poem. This one I wrote years ago when I was in a very dark place in my life. I found this today and just wanted to share it. It reminds me of who I was and how glad I am to see who I have become...and plus I just like it haha. R&R, I will reply every single time :).

This Blackened Sky
Lost again
Waters so cold of life but we breathe it in
Desperation
stripped of our sanity we are suffocating
My time is starting
Shadows pry into our veins, ripping out our jealousy
Laughing at our worthless dreams, bringing us into infamy
Obsession
Filter out our indiscretion
Wasted love has charred our hearts and
Crumbles from the love we're not living
I know it's time
We have become the blackened sky
The fallen shall shine on last time
Just let your tears be the armor for your skin
Nothing cuts you deeper than your body's will to sin
Regenerate
All that beckons to plague your soul
Shatter every lie you've been told
The darkness lies
Justified in our blood until the end of time
Beyond the grave, ashes part in the wake, ill shine
Push up from the ground and receive your call
A stain on the earth from where you fall
we are fallen
We have become the blackened sky
The fallen shall be ever remembered as the burden in his eyes
Just let your tears be the armor for your skin
Nothing cuts you deeper than your body's will to sin
It's dark enough to see so clearly
What we all should have been but could never seem to be
Walk on
We are the fallen
We have become the blackened sky
The fallen shall be ever remembered as the burden in his eyes
Just let your tears be the armor for your skin
Nothing cuts you deeper than your body's will to sin
We have become the blackened sky
The fallen shall be ever remembered as the burden in his eyes
Just let your tears be the armor for your skin
Nothing cuts you deeper than your body's will to sin
It's dark enough to see so clearly
What we all should have been but could never seem to be
