My dragon

My dragon is so terrible

He breathes fire that makes me cough and sneeze

He won't listen when I talk

He will always talk over me

Oh how I love my dragon

His talons could cut my soul easily

But he wouldn't

But he would bruise me with his tail

Leaving me to cry in the corner

Oh how I love my dragon

Even though he's not grown he still gleams

He shines like the sun and doesn't know it

In our world he's a moon that others long to see

But he has a dark side

Oh how I love my dragon

His eyes gleam when I try to hide

He would find me when ever I try

I wish he would look at me like he looks at himself

In his shining gold and silver; his pearls and gems

Oh how I love my dragon

Don't take me wrong he's a nice dragon.

Compassionate when he wants to

Caring when there's something for him

Making sure the ones he loves are safe.

Oh how I love my dragon
