"Our Own Starry Night" Rosey Mulvey

The Darkness sweeps through me

Your tender strokes consume me

The world is only beautiful

If I see you, this world astounds

The way the earth is turning

Is coarse and ugly, shaking

I yearn for peace you give me

Brings lightness, makes me free

I love you across the years

My loving words shan't reach your ears

But since now we're pulled apart

Out love shall thrive in our art

When I see the sky at night

I think of our own Starry Night

And though sunflowers fade away

We shall survive another day

We may be apart my love

With our love notes carried by Time's Dove

When you feel lost and alone

Please, please know you have my soul
