Abuse and forgotten
By Tatiyana Parker
Choking on your screams.
Warm tears roll down your cheeks.
He hits you again but you just take it.
You scream at him to stop for the last time.
That only angers him further.
He shows you his fury by the swig of his hand.
Your face begins to turn red.
More forgotten tears fall down your bruise face.
Your unheard screams begin to fade to nothing.
Now your body lays limp and cold.
In your coffin of your own making.
If only you listen to those forgotten pleas.
But now you lay in clothes colored black
Was it worth it?
Was his Love worth your life?
That the only question I have for you now.
