Oh, the trials and tribulations, I feel
endeavouring to look enterprising
Listen, to bosses never-ending spiel
I know through the ranks I won't be rising
I am here to pay the bills, thats my deal
I do not need your looks and surmising
Leave me alone, I'm just earning a meal
Want to get ahead, do, patronising
Hey, this is not my dream career, get real
Social Life, ok, not compromising
I say, ambition, in this place, no appeal
Call me in, go on, start the uprising
So, everyone, get with the programme
this is a steady work horse not Red Rum
