A short song about moving on, running away, and having a beer just so you can forget the day before. It's the same goddamn routine: and I'm still invisible

A Hymn to All Those Who Feel Invisible

.

You won't remember me

Cause I'll roll the dice

Win every time

But by the next day

I'll be long gone

.

A flash of long hair

Steely eyes

That's all that's left

I'm long gone

.

Another day

Another night

Another pub

Another fight

It's the same goddamn routine:

The life of someone invisible

.

You won't remember me

Cause I'll play my cards

Win every hand

But come the next morn'

I'll be long gone

.

A small teasing smirk

Another drink

Nothing's left now

I'm long gone.

.

Another day

Another night

Another bar

Another fight

It's the same goddamn routine:

The life of someone invisible

.

The bruises on my neck

From where you grabbed me

Will fade with time

And me I will be

.

I'll run away

And order a beer

Spend another night

Won't shed a tear

.

Cause I'm long gone now,

I'm long gone

The past is the past

I've moved on

.

Another drink

Another fight

Another guy

Another night

You feel so used

It's not right

Fade to black

See the light

It's the same goddamn routine:

And I'm still invisible...
