Chapter 2: DraggesVard

"Alright," said the girl dragon." Do you remember what happened to you?"
The dragon fell to her front hands and walked towards me.
I shook my head as I slowly got up.
"What am I?" I asked.
"Wow! What happened to you?" she asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You look like one of Veronika's failed experiment." She said chuckling.
I sat down and put my head on my hands.
This was too much, on top of amnesia I was some creature.
"Who's she?" I asked.
"You know Sato Veronika." She said expecting me to say 'ohh'.
"I'm sorry I don't know." I said.
"Wow you are really amnesiac." She said," Alright come with me. Perhaps one of Veronika's doo-dads can fix you."

We walked to the front of what seemed like castle walls. I noticed the sun was starting to fall down to the horizon.
"Let me in!" the girl dragon yelled at the walls.
A strong voice called from behind the walls asking, "Who's behind you?"
"A dragon with severe amnesia," she called up.
"Umm, I'm sorry to intrude on the conversation but what's your name?" I asked quietly.
"Celestia," she said quietly.
"C'mon in," Said the deep voice booming from behind the walls.
One portion of the wall suddenly turned into a wooden gate and opened.
"Wow, what kind of illusion was that?" I asked.
"Wow the amnesia really hit you hard. Can you even fly?"
"Fly? I can fly?" I asked.
"Can you even breath fire?" she asked.
"How do you do that?" I asked
"Can you guys hurry up?" asked a deep male voice from inside the walls.
We hurried up and entered the gate quickly slammed closed behind us.
There was a large town on the other dis of the wall. It looked like a city from the time of nights, there were street lights, dragons selling vegetables from wooden carts.
"Wow this is old style." I said.
"This is what gives the town its charms." Celestia said. "Inside we have modern technology."
"What does that include?" I asked.
"Computers, do you even know what they are?" she asked.
"I remember that much." I said.
"Then what about that," she said pointing at what seemed to be a partially floating fortress with small towers floating around it.
"What's that?" I asked.
"The queen's fortress." She said then pinted at something else." The mountain behind that is called mount Shadow."
The mountain was literally colored like Coal, giving off the feel that it was a large shadow. A green colored dragon passed by and I could've swore he gave Celestia a dark glare.
"Which way are we heading now?" I asked ignoring the dark glare.
"Veronika's place." She said." Down this street."
Celestia fell back onto all fours and continued forward. I followed beside her feeling strange stares on my back.
After a while Celestia then asked," Aren't you going to get down on all fours? It's easier."
"No thanks I prefer walking on my hind legs." I said.
"What do you think you are a human?" she said, partially laughing.
"Human," I muttered to myself feeling like there was something about me and 'human'.
"Do you remember anything else, other than your name?" Celestia asked.
"Just a strange old lady's voice saying 'this I need a hero, a hero of the ice and the cold. Something to counter the arising evil. I need you, my kingdom is in trouble, only you can help us. Nix' But what is Nix, or maybe who is Nix?" I said.
"No clue," she said with a frown. "Here we are, Veronika's place."
I looked up at the building, it seemed out of place since it was the only one with a more modern look. The building shined like it was made out of steel. There was a large garage door, which seemed to be made out of an even harder material then the walls but were painted black.
"Well this looks intimidating," I said.
"Trust Veronika isn't," said Celestia," until she drinks an emotion potion."
"Emotion Potion?" I asked curiously.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHH, HELP!" I heard a girl scream from inside.
"Sheesh talk about a long breath!" I said.
Celestia walked over to the garage door and knocked on it.
Nobody answered the door.
"How are we going to get in?" asked Celestia.
"I can't go in but you can fly up to the window." I suggested.
"She bought army strong windows since she had to keep buying new ones, after every failed experiment."
"Seriously?" I asked.
"Yeah, I told her not to."
"She should've listened."
"What about by melting the windows."
"They're magically reinforced but maybe together we can melt them."
"I can't breathe fire."
She stared at me, then smacked her head saying," Right you have amnesia."
I nodded my head then head then asked, "So how do I breath fire?"
"Easy you just imagine fire and almost scream it out." She said.
"Sounds easy, next how to fly up there." I said.
"Well that you just have to practice." She said winking at me.
I felt my new nerves and tried to stretch my wings.
"Wow!" She said.
"What?" I asked.
"Those wings are like the wings of a model they're the color of the night sky."
I looked back at my wings and sure enough they looked like the night sky minus the stars.
"Wow," I said," They're gorgeous."
"You don't remember what they look like?" She asked.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH," the girl screamed again.
I heard an exploding sound from inside and a dent appeared on the garage doors.
"She's what you call a siren." I said.
I threw my wings down with all my power and I flew up high above the building.
"Wow!" I said flapping my wings a few times.
Celestia flapped her wings a few times and jumped up trying to catch up to my height.
"Did you just become air-borne in one thrust?" asked Celestia, shock written across her face.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHH! WILL SOMEONE HELP ME ALREADY!"
"We should just wait for her to use her voice to break the glass." I said shocked by how long she can scream for.
"Hey at least you never went to karaoke with her." Celestia said shivering a little.
"So how do I breathe fire, again?" I asked.
"Breath in and force yourself to scream at the top of your lungs. Remember imagine fire." Celestia said.
I thought about the fire in a fireplace, and screamed," AAAAAAAHH!"
I put my hand on my mouth shocked.
Celestia started to laugh out loud.
"Hey I'm new at this!" I said.
She kept on laughing anyway, frustrated I tried to feel anything warm before I opened my mouth but I felt my regular breath.
"GGRRR," I said angrily, already frustrated as Celestia laughed even harder at my failed attempts. Then I felt something cool and cold.
"GGGRRRR," I tried again, feeling a cold cool breath.
"What are you doing now," Asked Celestia asked holding her stomach.
I thought about ice this time and breathed in calmly. I thought about snow, and then my mind went to blizzards,
Then I screamed, breathing out a cold fog like one on a cold day, feeling it leave frost on my teeth.
The fog blasted against the window freezing it.
"What how's that even possible?" asked Celestia in pure shock, her mouth agape.
I smiled happily, and said," HA, didn't see that coming did you know."
"That's not supposed to be possible. What are you, you're not one of us," Celestia said.
"Whatever shouldn't we help your friend?" I said touching the clean sheet of ice on the glass.
"How are we going to melt it now." She asked.
"We can erode it by freezing it then heating it up." I suggested.
*20 breaths later.*
"Alright I'm out of ice," I said trying to breath out more ice. I felt an ice cold liquid come up from my stomach instead. Only a drop of it came up from my stomach but it made me breath a thick fog.
"I'm out too," Celestia said.
"We can tackle it I guess," I suggested.
I rammed it with my head and the glass shattered leaving cuts on my head. I fell through the glass and onto a marble floor.
"Smart!" said Celestia sarcastically.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! CAN YOU GUYS REALLY HURRY!" I heard the dragon call.
"She sound close," I said feeling the floor vibrate.
"What's this shacking?" she asked.
Then randomly a silver dragon with goggles on her head ran past us nimbly navigating through the hall.
"Veronika!" Celestia yelled.
The dragon stopped and then yelled," RUN TALK LATER!"
She then continued running.
"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Celestia.
"I think that's what she's talking about." I said my voice quivering.
I pointed a finger at a large piece of steel that was shaped like an Ape.
It turned its head, revealing red eyes, and spike fists, it's fangs stuck out from its mouth like knives.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Celestia screamed vanishing suddenly.
"What!" I yelled," Now how is that possible?"
"I'm here, just run!" said Celestia, her voice came from where she had been standing.
"No you run!" I said ,"I'll hold him off!"
There was no answer and the ape was looking at me.
"Why am I an idiot?" I asked myself.
The ape ran at me with his fist above his head.
I ran at it at full speed. The ape seemed to smile at the easy death. Then at the last second I jumped back before it can smash me with its steel fists.
I jumped onto them and jumped over his head with the aid of my wings and continued running. The hall turned into another hall, but I stopped.
The ape turned around and glared at me. I tensed my leg muscles ready to roll out of the way.
It jumped at me it's fists above its head.
I rolled out of the way and watched it smash its hands off against the wall. It turned to look at me and looked at the empty arms, wires hanging out of them.
It roared and continued chasing me down the hall. I looked back behind me and looked back at the glass in the wall. I waited looking back for a few seconds waiting for just the right moment. I jumped up putting my feet against the glass and flew upside down and stuck to the ceiling with my talons as the ape missed me smashing the rest of its hands against the glass. It smashed a hole through the window.
"Perish," I yelled as I jumped onto the back of the ape.
The ape fell forward and its weight made it fall through the glass. I rode on its back halfway down the fall and then flew back up.
The ape smashed into pieces of steel against the ground. It's steel armor fell off of it revealing a thick ball of wires.
I flew back into the building, and yelled," ALL DONE!"
