Down the Rabbit Hole

Down, down, down I spiral

I don't remember the initial fall

Only ever the endless twirling

Endless darkness

No end in sight

Dirt scrapes beneath my nails

As I reach for anything to cling to

But sometimes I just float

Not knowing any motion

Alone with my thoughts

Is that a speck of light

Or a firefly twinkle

I hear noise

Screaming out

My voice goes unheard

Will I land and find a tiny door

Drink a potion

Eat a cookie

Is there a key to let me out

Or fall to pieces on the White Rabbit's floor
