YESS SNOW DAY! I FINALLY HAVE TIME TO WRITE!
Also, happy lunar year!
Chapter 6: Crystal's POV
"Phew..." I sighed. "Thank god the guards didn't notice me."
I looked at the ice kingdom. I've never been this far from home before... "Gotta find a place to rest..." I muttered, looking around. There was only pure white snow, nothing else. "If I can get out of this snow globe..." I looked around. The ice kingdom was in a huge snow globe. The snow globe keeps everything inside frozen, and it also makes it snow everyday.
I yawned. "Might as well..." I decided. I sighed and closed my eyes. Concentrating hard, I pictured a snow bunny in my head. "METAMORPHOSIS!" I shouted. I felt my body shrinking. My senses enhanced and I opened my eyes. The world looked huge from this point of view. 'Well, better get to work before the nighthunters come out...'
I hopped around and stopped. 'Here should be a good place...' I thought. I breathed in deeply and blew out. Snow harmlessly flew away, forming a burrow. I snuggled in and breathed in deeply. Immediately, snow delicately covered me and I went to sleep.
Meanwhile... (Leo's POV)
I shivered. Suddenly the room felt cold, even at the presence of the fire prince, Lucas.
"Do you even know where she is?" Lucas leered.
I shook my head. Lucas narrowed his eyes. "If you're lying, I will kill you."
Lucas smirked. "Good. Now go get me a cup of coffee. No sugar."
"Y-yes." I hurried into the cabinet. Then I took out a cup, some water, a coffee filter and ground up coffee beans. After that I started making the coffee.
After I was done, I slowly gave it to Prince Lucas.
He sipped the cup and gagged. "What is this?"
I raised my eyebrows. "Coffee."
"It's too bitter," Lucas spat out. "I told you to put 10 teaspoons of sugar in it!"
"You said no sugar, though..."
"So I can't change my mind? Add some sugar to this!"
I scowled and grabbed the coffee, spilling some on Prince Lucas' shoes. I felt him glaring at me as I walked back to the cabinet and took out a packet of sugar. Then I poured 10 teaspoons of sugar to the coffee and I hurried back to Prince Lucas.
He grabbed the coffee and sipped it. His eyes widened and spat out all the coffee. "WHAT IS THIS?! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME? YOU PUT WAY TOO MUCH SUGAR!"
"You told me to put that many..."
I blinked in surprise. Prince Lucas had spilled the coffee all over me. "Don't you dare defy me," he growled. "Get me another cup of coffee, this time just with milk."
I scowled, narrowing my eyes. Prince Lucas narrowed his eyes too. "Go. Get. Me. Another. Cup. Of. Coffee," he leered, challenging me.
I cowered away and made another cup of coffee. "How much milk do you want me to put in it?"
"Put whatever you want, I don't care. Just don't put too much," Prince Lucas replied.
I added some milk to the coffee and then served it to Prince Lucas.
He sipped it. "Hmmm..." 'Thank god he's not making a rude comment agai-'
I jumped back and stared at the broken cup. "WHY DIDN'T YOU CATCH IT?!" Prince Lucas roared. "ANYWAYS, THIS TASTES HORRIBLE! WHAT DID YOU PUT IN THIS?!"
"DON'T YOU KNOW I HATE MILK?! GO GET ME ANOTHER CUP OF COFFEE!"
I sighed. This was going to be a long week.
