The angels of deceit
Falling down a rabbit hole,
Trapped in a dream,
Trying to purge the unholy thoughts that I shouldn't have seen.
I fall I fall and all I see is blackness and deceit,
The midnight hour falling fast,
Taking its first meat.
The darkness swallows whole but the sunlight takes small bites,
Doesn't matter all the same,
You end up in never ending light.
You try and try but you still hide from the monsters,
Everywhere,
And still the squeak of a dormouse electrifies the hair.
To see the angels coming forward,
Made of stone and ice,
And yet the devils,
Fast and beautiful,
Rather to entice,
To trust the word of a faired haired fae,
To trust the word of a sloth,
To fall for a nosferatu',
To dance at the seelie court.
Join us in the light of the everlasting moon,
Dance until your feet bleed and your clothes begin to ruin
To dance as bones,
To dance as slaves,
To cling to a broken body,
Your soul will never leave,
The moon,
The light,
The seelie court
And the angels of deceit
