Rule 11: Procrastination
If you've already missed you deadline, that is not an excuse to procrastinate further on the essay. You can often still get a (docked) mark as long as you get it in, so you should probably do it. You know, like instead of re-watching TV shows, or updating your blog, or whatever it is that you do.
