Second of three pieces of prose (they cannot be classified as poetry as they do not fit any of the rules) that I wrote as I was trying to fall asleep. As I lay there, imagining myself in a forest, Lacera walked in and pulled me into her lap and began to sing these to me. Granted they were in her native tongue, but I understood it as you see written here. Not much else to say.

As the dawn begins to rise Forever nightmares bane May the Goddess see you rested and no troubles lay in your dreams.
As the sun begins to set once more And you slowly rest your eyes Let not your mind be plagued by demons Or other monsters of the night.
For I shall always be here at your side singing this lilting tune And I will watch ever vigilant until you rise to greet the new day.
