OK, so the world is supposed to end tomorrow and I am in firm belief that we will live beyond the clang of midnight! Who can make a calendar for forever?
This is basically me laughing at the conspiracy theorists (though, I'm not anti-theorist, so don't think I am, have as many theories as you like!) and letting my imagination run wild.
Enjoy, tell me your theories and, most importantly, Read & Review!

Who'd have thought a normal day like it started out as could turn out to be the worst day in my life? How can 21/12/12 be the end of the world?
Walking to school, I thought of the irony that we were finishing school on the supposed 'end of the world'. The world ending as soon as you got out of the school would just be a kick in the teeth for every kid.
The first two periods passed in a blur; maths and English were mandatory, but infantile for someone of such a high level. Break time came and I found my usual corner seat to take my book out. Unravelling my headphones, I observed everyone else in the room – most people were pulling 'end of the world' pranks. I shook my head before losing myself in Lady Gaga and science fiction.
The bell rang at 11:15. As I pressed my bookmark between the pages, I looked out the window over the fields of the school property. A black line approached over a bump in the hill, silhouetted against the horizon.
Then, the screams began.
Light hit the first face in the line, and as it did, horrific, nightmarish, and blood-curdling shrieks came from behind me. Flesh hung from the cheek, a patch of red veins from where it had been visible. The skin glowed a mint green. Its head hung lopsidedly as it limped, one arm hanging, held on by a few tendons.
I thought of the day and look at the time; the seconds hand had just begun to tick past the minute. My eyes widened, as I said my prayers. This was the apocalypse.
I gathered my books and made my way through screaming crowds, looking for shelter, amnesty, forgiveness…life.
I dropped to the floor, dragging my bag from my shoulder on the edge of school grounds. I find the cool blade of the knife in my bag and grip it tightly until I can find a more effective weapon.
The streets are empty, echoes of screams reverberating from the walls. One man held a hand painted sign – you know the type, 'The End is Nigh', 'Judgement Day is Here', etc. He smiled a toothy grin for me. "Ready for the end, kid? God will welcome you if you give in!"
I moved past him, pulling my collar round my mouth as he spread his arms.
Thudding footsteps behind me made me turn. At the top of the street were four of the zombies. One let out an unearthly scream and they charged.
