Rings of Marigold
(( Final part of the Flowers arch. ))
They gleam in the lights
These oaths of pure joy
These promises of forevers
These small rings of marigolds
Though years may pass
And you may just leave
And I may just weep
And we may be broken
These joys keep us close
For we both have one
For you love and I love
These small rings marigolds.
(( Based on the floriography, or language of flowers, of marigolds which translate to joy, health, and constancy. Also related to the belief that the attention of the dead are attracted to the scent of marigolds in connection with the Day of the Dead.
Thank you for sticking with me till the end and hope you enjoyed "Rings of Marigold". ))
