Listening to: Forever and always by Taylor Swift, Sweet Home Alabama by the Rock Heroes, and a bunch of other stuff I don't want to write out for you all. I'm listening with my new red ear buds. The color of blood… Jk, I'm not a psychopath.
Mood: Grateful/annoyed with brother cuz he's bugging me
Date: It's Christmas! (For all the people living under a rock and who haven't been introduced to Christmas, it's the 25th.)
About: My Christmas at my dad's house. He's not in the best financial shape because of the b!tch he was dating, but that's a different story. Read of my happiness.
Its 4 feet tall, and we tower over it, but it is our tree
There's not an inch visible that isn't decorated with hand-made ornaments.
Only two presents sit under the tree, at least they have each other for company
Wrapped with the only thing available (newspaper) they scream poverty
But at least they're wrapped, and that's what counts
The stockings are plain but even nameless, and a solid color they're loved
And the man who shows it to us is happier than I've ever seen.
His hazel eyes could out-sparkle Saint Nick's any day
And even though he had to empty his pockets just to get this
And has barely enough money for rent, he's proud
My father spent everything for us, and I don't know what to say
'Thank you' just wouldn't be enough, and I feel more grateful for just this one present then I've felt in my entire life
I love Christmas
Yeah, I hate the ending too, but I couldn't find the words to describe how happy I was when I saw him with that stuff. If you could please Review and tell me how to do better that would make me really happy; it could be your gift to me. And I promise that if anyone reviews this I'll go read one of your things and review it, I swear.
