Balanced Scales

Nature is like an amorphous scale

Always changing, never the same.

I like to imagine the scale as made of copper

Bright and russet colored,

Like the nature it represents.

On one side of this scale is a green light

And on the other is a brownness.

Tendrils of light and dark circle,

Light fading to dark and

Dark turning to light.

There is balance.

The scales to not swing,

Only change.
