I decided to pay my memory a visit.
It was deep in the crevices of my mind,

And I could find it slightly,
But I couldn't remember where I put it,
So then I thought I was lost.

But then I remembered I wasn't,
And I found my memory again,
But that was sadly a week ago.

It was somewhere over there...
Have you seen it lately?
It's been bothering me a bit.

Without a memory you can't have much
Of a thought at times;
And when you do, you forget
What you wanted to say.

And that's what I have done right now,
And I can't remember what I wanted to do.
But in any case,
Have you seen my memory lately?
I need it, I think I do;

But if I think that I thought
That I thought that I did,
Then I must remember that thought;
So maybe I remember that thought
And I remember my memory too.

So how can you remember a thought
But forget your memory still?
That seems impossible, but I have done it.

I can accomplish great things,
Not all of them convenient,
But most of them I cannot remember;
So please, if you pay my mind a visit,
Look for my memory. It's on the milk cartons
Outside the window
In the grocery stores;

My memory's picture is not too bright
And probably not that colorful, either,
And maybe it doesn't exist at all
But it's definitely on those milk cartons
Because my memory is LOST.

It is a poor abandoned puppy
Alone in the rain,
And if I don't find it soon,
Brainstorming won't do much good for me.

At least I can remember
That my memory is lost;
But if I can remember
Then my memory's not lost!

So how can this make sense
If my memory is lost
And I remember that it isn't?

Was that supposed to rhyme?
I don't remember.
