HURRICANE SANDY

Many people suffered greatly during hurricane sandy a few weeks ago. Hurricane sandy caused so much disaster and destruction that it was soon named as the perfect storm. After the

storm many houses near the cost were completely demolished and destroyed because of sandy leaving many people without homes. Up to now many people are helping reconstruct most of the houses

and donating things to the people that need it like food and clothing. In this essay I will show the results that were left after sandy came.

hurricane sandy did a lot of damage to many places and houses near the beach. Because of this many people were are without homes to live in. Their homes wasn't the only damage that

was made when hurricane sandy came though. Schools were also destroyed as well as many offices near the coast. The economic loss was also an effect of hurricane sandy, because of the destruction

it caused in places that were invested in greatly. Another reason was that to rebuild many of the important buildings that were demolished more money was wasted to rebuild them. A solution to these

problems could be to have people volunteer to help reconstruct the mess that was made. Another solution is that you can try to only rebuild the most important and useful buildings. A final solution is to

ask people for donations to help rebuild schools so children can start attending schools. These are the solutions I think will help the destruction and economic loss.

Many people that were not affected by hurricane sandy's rampage lended a helping hand to people that were affected by doing community service. In the huffing post article

it is said that even though there is sadness in the workers eyes there is still great determination to help the victims. In another newspaper " the chronicle" it states that students are doing what they

can to help by doing volunteer work, donating things, and organizing community projects to help the victims. In my opinion it is a very noble thing to do, going and helping the people that survived the

storm. The red cross and Fema are also helping people that were affected by the storm. For the red cross Getting supplies and meals and water into affected areas is the top priority right now.

The Red Cross has also distributed more than 2 million relief items such as clean-up kits and hygiene kits for the volunteers and victims of this terrible storm. Fema is also collaborating by providing

assistance and support to the affected by Hurricane Sandy. FEMA's mission is to support the citizens of hurricane sandy and to make sure that as a nation we work together to build, sustain, and

improve and , recover from this terrible disaster. Many people are helping and this is how they are doing it.
