Flashlight
There are shadows on the wall
Copying my every move
Almost like a mirror
Yet not so clear
Light burns through the dark
The circle not as bright as the sun
Gives new perspective
Shadows of dark
Kept at bay
By a simple invention
Batteries mustn't die
The light in the eyes
Kept on with life
When dark consumes
How can we see?
