The aftermath of war-

You needn't have hurried,

You needn't have worried,

Because for now the world is at peace,

So please, set your mind at ease,

For your services are needed no more,

When there is no blood and gore,

Washed upon the sullen shore.

And the people of the world will all rejoice,

For the war will be no more,

Yet they will have to make a choice,

Will they choose redemption?

Or, for themselves, will they make an exemption?

Believe their own righteous causes,

And justify their horrendous history,

By saying that the past is but a mystery.
