Promising temptations and carnal tease,
Wanton whispers across the street of sin.
Morals swept away with a painted grin,
Her embrace mastered with a practiced ease.
Cheated by lust and sensual hunger,
Curious, fresh lad was I and well-groomed.
Virtue bought by the heavily perfumed,
Logic and pride sold to a whoremonger.
So I shall invest, my moonlight lover,
and savor the cadenza of her cries.
Mistress of her trade under the cover,
An improper venture and most unwise.
Although this love is only a charade,
You are worth all the money I have paid.
