Does a Second Hand Ever Get Tired?
By: Hal99
Does a second hand ever get tired,
Of running around the clock all day?
Does the sky ever feel bored, of being
Blue, orange, or gray?
Does grass ever feel claustrophobic,
For the other blades are too close by?
Does a snow globe ever want to change
Seasons? Is it tired of watching snowflakes
Fly? Do leaves ever dare each other, to jump
Off the tree and into a pile? Does a flower
Ever want to die sooner, or does it want to stay
Awhile? Does a second hand ever get tired, of
Running around the clock all day? Or does it
Secretly stop when no one's looking, and let
The minute hand lead the way?
