Succeed

I wish they would see,

I wish they didn't turn their back on me.

Why won't they even give me a chance?

They won't even give me a glance.

For me, they only have doubt.

They have already counted me out.

I will strive to prove them wrong.

I show them that I belong.

I will prove that I am stronger than I seem.

That this is far more than a dream.

They don't seem to comprehend,

That I will not let this dream end.

I am willing to fight.

The light at the end burns bright.

Even if I have to make the journey alone,

Even if I have to do everything on my own.

My dreams will proceed,

And I will succeed.
