Sam's story
Have you ever felt like you had no place in this world, like everything around you doesn't matter? Well that was Sam, a young man of twenty –three. He had hazel eyes, dark hair and had an athlete's body. His mother left him when he was four. They haven't seen each other since. Sam told me the night his mother left, she told him, they will be leaving together . Apparently that was the last words she said to him. Sam didn't like talking about his mother much I guess it brought back old memories that were too painful for him to handle. Anyways when I first met Sam, he seemed a bit odd. You could tell he was a deep thinker by the way he argued with his classmates. He once told a professor he looked like chubaka left nut sack.
The last time I spoke to Sam was on May 5, 2011. He told me he was on a spiritual journey in Singapore. That gave me a little chuckle because Sam wasn't the type of person to follow religion. I could tell he was serious by the tone he used. He told me he was tired of the path he was heading and needed direction. I admit we all feel like that sometimes. I guess life slaps us so hard that we hide who we really are and take the identity society has for us. Sometimes I wonder, what if we are supposed to change the world around us. What if the people we meet are no coincidence? What if we are supposed to love each other and help each other? When did been ourselves become difficult? Sometimes I wonder. Anyways as I said Sam was on spiritual journey. I thought to myself how could a guy like Sam be on a spiritual journey. I even heard he almost beat a guy to death. That night, i noticed something in Sam like never before. it was astonishing. it was like he found peace and confidence in himself like never before. i could sense the joy in him. PLEASE REVIEW AND LET ME SEE WHAT YOU THINK.
