About a woman who lost her husband in a war and how she feels about the war itself and the prospect of being reunited with him. I know as I am only 13 I may not have much experience in the matter, but that is why it is fiction. Don't know about ratings, as always, so I am going with K and hoping that it's OK... Enjoy!

My Dear, My Love
The pain leaves you speechless,
Not asking for more.
Don't want to go back,
To re-live the war.
The fighting was brutal,
You could do nothing but dread.
To find if your fate,
Was to join with the dead.
Some soldiers were injured,
Some lost their mind.
But what were you really,
Expecting to find?
You thought it was noble,
You thought it was true.
Maybe even thought war,
Was the right thing to do.
Now it turns out it wasn't,
So what do you say?
Some people will never,
Come back out to play.
My dear, my love,
I shall join him today.
I'll meet him in Heaven,
And we'll fly away.
It's been fifty years,
But now I can say:
'My dear, my love,
I will see you again.'
