Hi guys, PheonixFlame5 back again with a new set of songs. Sorry about spacing issues, these are copy and paste uploads from my mobile tilI I access a laptop or computer. There's a little back story to this, well there is for all my songs but I feel it important to share this one with you.
I found out today that my girlfriend is a social/drunk smoker and quite frankly I was slightly disgusted, I found it completely unreasonable that she smokes merely because she is drunk and others are doing it. in fact, I'm against smoking full stop, it's useless and serves nopurpose but to serve as a legal form of long term suicide.
This songs called: Breaking the Habit
Once in a while, you let yourself slip
Add the ingredient you need for a kick
But don't you realise what you throw away
Each one it kills another day
Can't you see dear their killing you so slowly
You can't see it in your eyes, you can't feel it in your heart, but your leaving this world and it's tearing me apart
It's going to get you
The cancerous cell
I know you can't tell
Your under it's spell
And every night
As you slowly slip away
just hold on tight
I'll pull you away from the light
We're breaking the habit
Breaking the habit
Breaking down the walls
We're breaking the habit
Breaking the habit
We're breaking free from it all
So quietly it slips away
Come tomorrow, gone today
And even though, the answers on your breath
No one speaks because inside their scared to death.
Can't you see dear their killing you so slowly
You can't see it in your eyes, you can't feel it in your heart, but your leaving this world and it's tearing me apart
It's going to get you
The cancerous cell
I know you can't tell
Your under it's spell
And every night
As you slowly slip away
just hold on tight
I'll pull you away from the light
We're breaking the habit
Breaking the habit
Breaking down the walls
We're breaking the habit
Breaking the habit
We're breaking free from it all
And know, if you fall
I can't pick you up this time
Despite it all, I can't make the final call because...
It's down to you
Which you chose
Win or lose
You've got to break up this habit
Break up this this habit
Or you will surely lose
You've got to break up this habit
Break up this habit
Let me help you through
We're breaking the habit
Breaking the habit
Breaking down the walls
We're breaking the habit
Breaking the habit
We're breaking free from it all
