Fore-warning: This was heavily inspired by The first (and only) season Of The Secret Circle, I stayed up two days in a all night and day watching the whole season only to find out some fag bag canceled it so if you notice one or two similar events, calm your nipples. Love Youuuuu, Danie.

CHAPTER ONE

"Rae are you sure you're ready to go? I mean if you wanted to stay home one more week before you started it would be fine!"

Rae DelCourte shot her Grandmother a fake smile, "I have to start eventually right?"

Grams smiled her blue eyes shining, "You're just like you're mother you know. You look just like her except the eyes, Those are his eyes."

"Thanks Gram."

Gram nodded and disappeared back into the hall, leaving Rae staring at her reflection.

She was wearing a white tank top that stopped at her belly button with a blue jean button up over it and a pair of black tights and the rustic caramel brown lace up boots her mom had bought her for her 16th birthday.

She couldn't see her mom in her at all, even her hair was a lighter shade of blonde.

Rae sighed and picked up her bag, her keys, and her phone. Blue Creek High School... her mother hadn't ever talked about it and Rae had a feeling that she was walking into a confrontation blind-folded.

She sighed and made her way downstairs, she could do this. She could start over, her Mom would want her to.

I sighed and yanked the lock on my locker, and finally it clicked and my locker shot open.

"You must Be the new girl, It's nice to meet you I'm Delilah Monroe."

I turned around and stuck out my hand, she was tall and pretty with long black hair and big brown bambi eyes, " I'm Rae DelCourte."

She shook my head and smiled a secretive smiled they made me nervous, "I know," She shook my hand , waved, and meshed in with the small flow of students.

I shook my head and slid some of my books into the locker, then I felt like I was being watched and I assumed it was Delilah again and I turned my head, but it wasn't her.

It was a boy dressed in black, surrounded by fellow 'bad asses', watching me with a smirk. I rolled my eyes, slammed my locker close and with a spiral note book clutched tightly in one hand and my schedule in the other I strode down the hall.

This town was like something out of The Twilight Zone or some lame ABC family Teen show.

I had math, Chemistry, and all most every class with Delilah and the stalker guy.

At lunch she approached me again, smiling like Rachel Ray, "Hi again! So after school we go to this place called the Clubhouse, it's just like a place to eat, chill, play some games. It's right on the harbor and if you want after school I'll show you around and introduce you to some people!"

I swished my almost empty bottle of soda around in my hand and nodded, "Uhm Sure, that would cool."

She beamed and shoved a piece torn notebook paper in my hands, "This is my number, if you get lost or need anything feel free to call me, I have to go but I really hope you can make it!"

I chewed on my straw and tried to decide if she was truly that nice or if she was hiding a core of satanic evil under that Polly perfect act.

I sighed and got up, tossing my stuff away and leaving the court yard.

The Clubhouse was built to look like a submarine, and the cool thing was you could eat on top of it, I'd honestly never seen anything like it.

I locked my car and leaned against the door, Stalker boy was on the top of the submarine and staring down at me, he wasn't smirking this time he was watching me like he was confused.

I slid my keys and my phone into my pocket and crossed the parking lot, I felt satisfied when I walked through the door and he couldn't see me anymore.

Kids we're in almost every single booth, and it was hard to spot Delilah but when I did she immediately jumped up and waved at me, She was sitting with four other people. Two guys and two girls.

One of the girls had dark black hair and different colored streaks, she glared at me and the other girl nudged her.

Then it was like I couldn't breathe, it felt like the time Debra Mackie had dared me to smoke a cigarette and I'd inhaled the smoke.

"Ellie stop!"

The girl shoved the other girl off of her and smirked at me, My eyes hazed over and then her eyes were big and she was squishing the other girl against the glass beside the booth.

I took in a deep breath and Delilah was right in front of me, " Are you allergic to cigarette's? I told that guy to put it out, because as soon as he lit it..."

I snatched the glass of water she was holding in her hands and chugged it, 'That wasn't from a cigarette," I snapped, "and you know it."

She blinked, her face becoming blank, "Then what else could it of been from?"

I shoved the glass back in her hands and strode of to a booth but before I snapped back, "I don't know but if you're friends or you are trying to hurt me some how, I will fucking crush you."

I ordered a coke and some french fries from a waitress who looked older than this town and I waited for her to come back.

"Is that seat taken?"

I peered through my bangs, dark jeans, black shirt, I didn't even have to get to the face before I knew who it was.

"Obviously not," I muttered shoving my hair away from my face and glaring when he sat down.

He grinned, bright blue eyes twinkling, "I'm Grant," He looked over his shoulder and back at me, "I take it you don't like them too much?"

I shrugged, "It seems crazy, but it's like ever since I got here one of them have been watching me," I looked him dead in his eyes and ignored how attractive he was and how his eyes seemed to swirl into different shades of blue, "Like how you were watching me with you're little friends this morning."

Grant laughed and I could feel his legs brush mine as he stretched out, "Yeah they're not my friends, and I hate them too. They want me to join their... Let's just say I like to just have to depend on myself."

"What do they want you to join?" I retorted.

"Their coven," He replied back easily, "I guessed as soon as I saw you, That you didn't know how much power was brewing in that small body, a nice body, but still so small. You don't even need a coven for protection, DelCourte's go back thousands of years."

"Coven? What is that? Some gang?"

I felt weird, like I knew what he was talking about but my mind wanted to deny it.

"Gang? C'mon Princess, do they really look like they could start a gang? You know what it is," Grant's face lit up then he grabbed my hand and pressed it down on the table, "You can feel it, our magick connecting."

He lifted up my hand, still holding it, and my hand print was burned into the table.

"What the -"

I jumped up and he snapped his fingers and it was gone, "You're a witch, and it's better I go ahead and tell you before they rope you into their little coven," He moved his chin and I plopped back down, "Now my advice would be to learn you're powers, get comfortable and if you still want to join their little witch circle go ahead but I'm going to tell you what they won't. When you join a coven you can't use you're power unless another member of the coven is present."

He was crazy, crazy, crazy. My head was swimming, all of them were crazy.

"I can't..."

I felt my head connect to the table then I was out.

**** Later That Night****

"Grant, I know you're her guardian but that doesn't mean you can just-" Sara sighed and shook her head, staring where Rae had curled up into the thick down comforter, "Her mother reacted the same way, and almost killed her guardian. I don't know how she restrained herself, she has a big part of him in her. I can see it. It scares me Grant, keep her away from that Coven."

Grant crossed his arms and a stretched his legs out , his head resting on the back of the chair, "I already told her about them, I'm not going to lie to her about anything. She knows, it's in her blood, she just got overwhelmed. You should of kept her home today, they were waiting. They need her power, their coven is weak."

Sara shook her head and turned to leave Rae's room but she paused in the doorway, " Grant, be careful. I told Fallon that, when him and Katherine bonded. He didn't listen, he followed her around a cleaned up her messes. He fell in love with her, when he knew who she fate had chosen for her."

"Sara," Grant sat up, frowning, "Who's destined for Rae then?"

"He's going to come soon," Sara tugged on her amulet and shook her head, "He has more power than you could handle on you're own, just don't fall for her Grant. You're going to have your hands full when her half-brothers find her."

Grant grunted in reply and Sara disappeared down the hall, Grant knew he couldn't promise he wouldn't fall for Rae.

Fallon had told Grant everything before he'd died. When a Guardian bonded the only person they cared about was the person they bonded with, Grant could care about other people... fall in love even but Rae would always be first into his mind. Fallon never got over Katherine, even when he'd married Marie, Grant's mother.

Rae's POV

I woke up clutching my head and a ceramic cup floating in front I screamed and jumped off my bed.

It hadn't been a dream. It hadn't been a dream.

I waited for my Grandma to come, but instead a black head popped into my room , "What?"

"Grant why in the hell are you at my house and why the hell is that cup floating?!"

Grants sighed, "We've been over this Princess, You are a WITCH. You have MAGIC POWERS. I am you're Guardian, ever since the beginning of time every Delcourte has had a guardian because the God Of Magick fell in love with Evra Delcourte in 1345, and since he couldn't protect his love he sent a demon-with Hyrbrid named Emanu and they bonded so that he would protect her for eternity."

I opened my mouth to scream again and Grant jerked his hand up and muttered something and just like that I understood.

I realized he'd used Magic to calm me down, I sighed and walked back over to my bed. My head was killing me.

"Why did I black out yesterday? Did you make that happen?"

Grant shook his head, "That's was all you, You wanted to strike out at me and make it go away. But You restrained yourself, which is amazing for someone who never even knew they were a witch."

I blinked and took the mug, it was hot chocolate with miracle whip on top.

"So are Delilah and all them witches too? You said they were in a coven... Is that like a group of witches?"

Grant groaned, "God what is this twenty questions?" He sighed, "Yes and yes. Get dressed I have to explain a lot of things to you."

I crossed the room and slammed the door in his face. It didn't seem crazy anymore. I mean my Mom always knew everything I did and she'd never worked but we'd always had a nice apartment or house, and she always knew what I wanted or needed and it would just appear.

I pulled on a pair of jeans shorts, black keds, and a spaghetti strap shirt.

I brushed my teeth and straightened my hair before going to look for Grant, who was laying on the couch in the living room watching TV.

He took up all of the couch so I sat in one of the arm chairs and stared at him.

Finally he looked over at me and raised his eyebrows, "First thing first, You have 3 half brother's and they're looking for you. You're Dad was a Demon who took up Magic from 3 powerful witches after he killed them. You are destined to meet, fall in love with, and have a child with some unknown guy who you're grandma says is coming with you're brothers, she also said that we only had a short time to prepare you. You need to start practice you're magic."

He picked up the remote and moved his hand up as if weighing it then he chucked it squarely at my face, I threw my hands up up and waited for the impact. It never happened.

I peeked through my fingers, the remote was floating right in front of my face.

"Good, Good," Grant sat up with a grin, "You need to think about something anything, practice just thinking it and hold out you're palm."

"Okay."

I held my palm out and concentrated.

Then my palm was warm and I opened my eyes and grinned, the chick chirped back, "Was that good?!"

Grant nodded and the chick disappeared, "Lift me up."

My mouth dropped, "Lift you up? You're like 6'1!"

Grant scoffed and I flew up out of my chair and hovered until my head was touching the ceiling then I dropped back into my chair, "See it's easy. Concentrate on this, Light as a feather. Simple."

I closed my eyes and concentrated again. Grant's light as a feather. Light as a feather. Light as a feather.

I opened my eyes again and he was touching the ceiling and clapping, "Good, good. Magic is simple as that, but spells and enchantments have certain words and rhythm's. That have to be assessed and learned. Witches don't take the time to learn important spells or any at all," Grant floated himself back down and shrugged, "Which is why their magic fall short in certain situations."

"This feels like a dream."

"I've known about it my whole life so I have no idea what you're going through but tomorrow we have a full moon and that's when we need to bond."
