The war has begun
So pick your side
Maybe your effort
Will turn the tide

A wrong decision
Ensures your death
The enemy troops
Will take your breath

To the front lines
You have been sent
Gun strapped on your back
Wishing you'd never have went

Bullets whizzing by
One hits your friend
You feel him stop breathing
He's met his end

Why are you fighting
What is your goal
Is killing other people
Purifying your soul

You have no motive
You have no choice
Just an average citizen
Stripped of their voice

No, no more
It's been far too long
Fighting isn't the answer
It's just plain wrong

Gun aside
You walk away
You'll live to see
Another day

Other watch
And follow your lead
With your action
You've planted a seed

Your effort wasn't judged
In the lives unmade
It was judged
In the lives you saved
