I had the song Secret by the Pierces stuck in my head and this came out. The first poem I've ever written and I hope you like it

You gained my trust
And all the things I was hiding
You learned all my thoughts
All the emotions I was fighting
I honestly thought you'd never
Dare to tell

But I guess I didn't
Know you too well
You took all my words
Made them your own
Twisted me until
I was your clone

After being a slave
To you every will
I'll finally be free
Cause two can keep a secret
If one of them is dead

Now I hear your voice
Echoing through my thoughts
Calling out to me
From beyond the grave...
