Why would any child
Want a broken toy;
One that has been abused
From years of use
And mistreatment?
None would;
Not unless it was something
Valuable, something cool.
So why would anyone want me
In my broken, destroyed,
Overemotional state?
Unlike the toys,
I haven't been touched.
Instead, I was unappealing,
So I still sit on the shelves.
Why would anyone want me,
Who cries over little, stupid things;
Who has irrational fears
That keep me from easy tasks;
Who is obsessive, clingy;
Who gets my feeling hurts
Every couple of minutes;
Who says sorry to the point
Of pissing other people off?
I have no reason to be like this;
But yet, it is me.
