Just about a picture that holds the only happiness that a family felt. The feelings of the girl who is caught in the middle. Reviews are appreciated :D

PICTURE PERFECT

How many memories to you hold?

How many stories left untold?

Crackling paper and dust

This photo to decipher, I must

Endearing smile, kind eyes

Did you know that it was all lies?

Did you know about the wreckage you would leave behind?

And you thought you were being kind!

I'm drowning in a losing war

With no way to swim ashore

I stare at this picture,

The only thing I know for sure

Was this moment even real?

Because it's starting to feel so surreal

I'm so very cold and alone

I no longer have a home

My only possession is this photo

I have nowhere else left to go

I'm stuck in moments past,

Moments too good to last

So please, God, pass your judgement

Let me exist only in this picture perfect moment
