MINUS THE BEARS: Chapter 5-Crevan's Way

(Documentation from Panda Anthem, 18 days till winter)Trying to get Minus back home, we got engulfed in a great windstorm, or what the fox named Crevan referred to as the Grand Windstorm. We took refuge in Crevan's den. Then Ursa realized that someone was missing. Minus wasn't in the den with us. All we can do is wait until the Grand Windstorm goes away so we can search for him.

Silence fell over everybody in the den.

Everyone except Crevan.

"Who's Minus? What kind of name is Minus, anyway? Unless Minus is a Vixen. Then it's okay. Cause a Vixen is a female fox. Yeah, and I'm looking for a mate, so if Minus is a Vixen… just tell me, okay? Because I'm a guy fox, and well, guy foxes like Vixen, you know? So if Minus is a Vixen-"

"Minus isn't a Vixen!" Aharoni finally said. Just as he said that, the storm's howling started to diminish. The Grand Windstorm had faded. Morning came.

"Don't you think that it's strange that when you shut me up, the storm went away? I think it's strange." Crevan said as he smiled and left the den.

They immediately started looking for Minus. They searched for hours. They found nothing and it was already the afternoon.

"I give up." Anthem said, collapsing himself on the gentle snow. Then, out of another den, came another fox.

"Hey! Crevan! I see you survived the Grand Windstorm once again!" said the other fox.

"Hey, Regard! How's it going?" Crevan greeted back.

"You wouldn't believe what I got in my den!"

Crevan scurried over, to find an energetic wolf pup playing with a rag.

"I think I found Minus."

The three bears ran over to the den.

"Minus? Where have you been?" Aharoni asked, kind of annoyed that Minus was just in the den right over.

"I've been in here!" Minus said with a happy smile.

"Come on, we've got to go." Anthem said impatiently.

"Aw, come on! This place has toys!" Minus's smile quickly turned into a frown.

"We can't waste a minute, Minus." Ursa said, glad that Minus was having fun.

"Why do I have to listen to you? You're not my mother!"

"Well, I bet your mother would have said the same thing. Now let's get a move-on."

Minus sighed. "Okay, fine. Bye, Regard."

"Until next time, kid." Regard said and smirked. They left the den, not noticing the suspicious hawk soaring above the sky.

The Great Pack was unsteady. Everyone was worried about Chase, Lowell, and Minus. They were relieved to see Chase running back.

"Chase." The old, wise Elder Sage said to the mighty wolf. "Where's Lowell and Minus?"

"There was a bear. He killed Lowell and Minus is missing, I couldn't find him anywhere." Chase replied, trying to catch his breath from all that running.

"Bears are evil!" said a random wolf form the crowd.

"We should hunt the bear down!" said another random wolf.

"No. We will do this peacefully. We will send a search party for Minus. Who volunteers?"

"I volunteer." Chase said first. 5 other wolves also volunteered.

"Great. You will search for them now. And do not attack on the first sight."

"Yes, Elder Sage." Chase said and left with the other 5 wolves. Chase was a stubborn wolf. He gave the other wolves a totally different plan: "Attack on the first sight."
