I never quite know where the time goes

But sometimes I can almost see it leaving

And I sit and watch it leave,

Slowly, right before my eyes

And sometimes I stop and think about the time that has already passed

And sometimes I stop and look at the clock thinking

This second will never come again

I never quite know where the time goes

But sometimes I can almost see it leaving

And I stop and look at the time that has already passed

And I look at the time that is passing

And I look at the time that is coming

And I stop and I think

I never quite know where the time comes from
