I just noticed something really interesting about myself. I sit next to people on the bus who I find aesthetically appealing to me, I don't know why that is.. When I cannot even have the guts to say hello to them. When CLEARLY they would probably want me to say something. I don't understand it at all xD

I got on the bus and scan the environment/aura that seems to surround the person. I saw two people in which were in my opinion were studious, and highly intelligent. One was reading, and the other was writing.

I only had a few seconds to make up my mind. just as I was, the girl who was writing asked me if I'd like to sit next to her! She broke the barrier of my silent predicament. I finally managed a humble "thank you" and sat next to her.

Now, here is where my habit kicks in.

She continued writing in a worn leather journal with a pen that had a feather on the end. Upon noticing this, a small smile attempted to capture my features. But, being me.. I said nothing about this. Instead I said "Umm, I like your notebook" She looked up from her writing and smiled at me, a very warm and sweet smile. "Well, thank you. But it's ancient." I looked it over again, and saw that she was right. It was worn, and had tanned pages. I should've said something else. Like "I like your coat, or I like the way your hair flows down your back effortlessly even though the bus was only moving a little bit." But the more I thought about it, the more she looked me over.

"Are you okay?"

I nodded quickly, and flashed her a thumbs up. Her hand brushed mine, and she then whispered close to my ear "can you pull the cord for me?" My cheeks burned, as I pulled the cord for her. And I realized that the notebook was now in her crocheted backpack, and that she was standing. "It was nice to meet you. I'm Fate."

My mouth dropped when she said that, and I finally smiled and said "I..-'m Nicole. Nice to meet you too, Fate."

What a morning. XD
