Don't look down
Just keep your chin up high
Don't let their words drag you into hell
Don't let them knock you down
Hold on tightly to your peg
And never let go
Ignore the throbbing
In your chest
Dwelling on the past won't help
Just move on
Before the ocean of dysphoria swallows you whole
Just train your eyes on the rainbow
And walk through the fog
When things look austere,
Just keep marching
Until you reach the sun
It might be hidden
But have faith
That one day, things might get better.
