Blood on the faces

Of those left alone

Whether coming here

Or simply just beaten and thrown

Blood on the hands

Of those tossed aside

Whether their own

Or of the lies spoken solely to misguide

Blood on their faces

And tears in their eyes

Tells the world

Something we feel inside

And at the blood on their bodies

And pain in their souls

We're taught that something

We've always secretly known

Revealed the truth of the land behind the doors

Exposed to the facts of a terrible life

The pain and suffering we force them to live in

A lie we created

From the blood on their faces
