CHAPTER ONE

Everyone in life is looking for an adventure, or at least I was. Remember that saying, be careful what you wish for, yeah well you really should. Anyways this is my story; I guess this is the beginning…

Ugh! Jessica had left her freaking stuff all over our shared bathroom! I am so going to kill her this time! " JESSIE! Get in here, will you!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. "Coming" I hear a muffled voice from behind a crazy loudspeaker system booming in our also shared room. "Uh huh?" Jessica popped her head threw the crack in the door way, " How may I help you?"

"Well for one you can get all your stupid stuff off the counter!" I motioned towards the heap of makeup and all her other junk. Jessica disappeared, I sighed in annoyance. She walked back in holding a random bag and swiped all the items on the counter into the bag. " There you go madam" She curtsy's and promptly walks out slamming the door behind her. FINALLY a bathroom to myself! BEEP, BEEP, BEEP! OMG Its already 7:00! I swiped on some mascara and lip gloss and ran out the bathroom, so much for a makeup session today! Oh well!

I ran down the stairs, and into the kitchen where, Jessica my twin, Sam the seven years old and Lola the 4 years old were sitting. Mom and Dad had left around 2 weeks ago on some kind of business trip. " Your late!" Sam said as he pushed me a slice of toast. Jessica always cooks breakfast, I do dinner and we go to school so lunch is covered THANK GOD.

I stuffed my toast in my mouth and grabbed my bag, Motioning to the gang it was time to leave. "Pass me my bag will you?" Jessica said. " Your coming this way anyway, get it yourself" I smiled and purposefully stepped over her bag and picked up Lola's. " Lola, come here!" I called. "Coming!" She ran over her long brown braids flying behind her.

Finally, even later than me Jhon my oldest brother trudged down the stairs. "What's for breakfast?" He walked in surveyed all of us, then grabbed a handful of toast and stuffed it in his mouth while walking towards the door. Such a normal day, this is almost how everyday starts.

"If you guys want a ride to school get in the car, NOW" Jhon said. "GOD! Cranky much?" Sam replied as he grabbed his jacket from the closet by the front door and slipped it on.

Just because he was seventeen and the oldest of the five of us, he thought he could boss us all around. "Just wait till I get my drivers lie sense! Only one and 1/2 a year to go untill the big sixteen" Jessica was giving us her long car speech again.

I grabbed my sling bag and popped my iPod headphones into my ears. Jamming along to the music I picked up Lola and follow Sam and Jessie to the car. Right before I left the house, an unexpected wish popped into my head, I wish something fun and interesting would happen! I shook off the thought; no I definitely liked my life! Right?

Lola has to be dropped to preschool, which is about five minutes from the elementary school where Chris has to be dropped off and then the three of us were off to the high school. Our lives were so crazy once mom and dad left it was just us. It was only legal because of John and the babysitter who comes every week to check in and clean the house.

Before I knew it we were at he high school and ready for another normal day, too bad I had math first thing in the morning!

" Bye guys" Jhon walks over to his big group of annoying friends and completely ignores us after that. " So did you study for that quiz in history?" Jessica asks me. " WHAT QUIZ?" I spin and nervously bit my lip. Jessica and I were twins and best friends; it was hard not to be when we had the same friend circles. " Nothing I was just trying to loosen you up, you look so high strung today!" Jessica teased.

As we walked in the front door chatting, you could totally tell we were twins. We had the same long brown hair and brown eyes, though we dressed totally different. Jessie wasn't a total tomboy, she was on like four sport teams, but today she was wearing skinny jeans and a basketball jersey, with matching ballet flats. She definitely dressed better than her teammates, but not as well as me. I on the other had was wearing skinny jeans and a flattering light blue sweater and furry black boots.

"ASHLEY! Are you ready for the math quiz I heard that It was super hard, Imma so freaking scared!" My other best friend Courtney ran over and started blabbering. " AND we can not fail this one if we want to stay on the cheer leading squad."

I nodded " Don't worry, I totally studied all night yesterday, I am SO ready for this test! Plus I have never failed a test before?" I said surely. "Well not everyone can be little miss A+ and everything" Courtney whined, but she was grinning at me. Totally cliché for Courtney, I turned to see Natalie our other bestie and Jessica talking about some outfit at the mall or some thing like that.

We better get to our lockers if we didn't want to be late! So I grabbed Jessie's arm and dragged her towards our lockers. It was going to be a LONG day! I had all my bad classes, Math, History, P.E and Science! Talk about a bad schedule!
