A Good Laugh

Here's to the times when you feel really down,

You wish you could find a smile, but you're stuck with a frown.

Do not be discouraged, don't stray from your path,

For the best medication, is of course a good laugh.

Now many may scoff at this principle of thought,

But as for it being false, I assure you it is not.

By recalling a joke or a funny time in class,

It doesn't take a miracle to get a good laugh.

Now for all the pessimists who happen to be here still,

There is nothing more for you that my words can fill.

If by this time you still think this is as funny as math,

I truly feel sorry to know that you'll never have a good laugh.
