Hey Guys. Please Read & Review! Pretty Please?! I want to see where I am pulling this story.
I swam down to the bottom and started scanning organisms to document for future use. Sharks, octopuses, tuna, clown fish; anything that moved. I was fascinated and occupied until I heard a loud thrumming noise. I looked to the surface and saw a big white object floating on the water. It was moving fast. I raced after it bobbing above the water every once in a while to catch glimpses of what may be on it. I scanned it to realize it wasn't alive, but was a ship, a boat. I jumped higher and caught sight of a human. It was rather small for what I had thought. Maybe it was a child. A small human boy. It saw me as well and shouted, "Uncle there's a blue mermaid by our boat!"
The boat stopped and an adult emerged from inside. I ducked into the water as it started to boggle. "It's a girl. We're not terribly far from shore, she's taking a swim. I popped up again, "Hey, you okay?" The boy asked. I did a quick scan and smiled, feeling reckless. I dived under, flipping my tail up for a second and raced away. I dragged myself onto the dry sand in an isolated shore. I used the matter of this body to change into a Qamono, a small four-legged fox-like creature that was grey instead of orange and had two pairs of eyes and three tails.
I scampered into the vegetation, the ground soft under my thick paws.
