Tommosin was running faster than she'd ever run in her life. She leapt the two metre gap in the floor-boards and jumped up, grasping the bars above her head, and swinging herself forwards, using her momentum to keep moving.
She jumped down, ran forward about ten paces, and began pulling herself up a smooth metal pole. Her muscles were on fire, but she kept at it, and when she was at the top, she flung herself from it onto a high ledge a few feet away.
Before her were more platforms, made of wood, and hanging from a string so thin, Tommosin was sure they wouldn't hold her weight for more than a split second. She took a deep breath, and flung herself on top of it, knowing that if she messed this up, she would fall down... a long way down. She managed to stay upright, and immediately jumped onto the next one. She kept going, and on the last one, her foot slipped, she hung onto the wood for dear life. The string snapped, and Tommosin cried out as she fell, her flailing arms barely managing to catch hold of the stone wall before her. She caught hold, and climbed up, reaching the top after five more minutes. At the top she just lay there, not wanting to move.
"Well done!" Arivione cheered. "Two minutes faster than last time. Would've been much fast if you hadn't fallen, though."
Very sorry, I haven't written any more for a while.
