As late afternoon turns to night
As it becomes dark instead of light
As I look back to the paths of life
I find that I am now able to fly.
It seems as though we are done
It seems that hope of life is gone
Yet hope is here, now
In life's eternal song.
The complex span of daytime ends
The dimension we know slowly bends
Until hate and love are together as one
And our ephemeral days, as always, fade.
When dreams become a reality
Hard work paves roads anew
When thoughts are all null and void
A door will then reveal to you...
You imagination.
This poem, unlike the others, was written quite a while ago when I was in 6th or 7th grade. So, it might not be up to par in comparison to the others. Nevertheless, I've always liked this one, so I hope you like it too!
