Snow
Sonnet 7
I hate the snow don't you know, yes I do
Frigid mornings and ice cold nights, not nice
Warm in my bed, don't want to wake up, no
Wet socks, moist clothes, coats and scarves don't suffice.
Magic in the air as snow flakes drift past
A quirk of my lips as my friends all sing
"What a wonderful world", oh time slips fast
I wonder what the next snow fall will bring?
I love the snow don't you know, yes I do
Dawn lights the glistening blanket of snow
Playing in the white fluff with them and you
A blessing, a gift and a show, now I know
The sky is falling, I kind of like it
To the serenity, let us submit
_,∙~* thoughts of mine*~∙,_
It's been snowing lately, better late than never I suppose, but now that it's arrived do I really want it here?
There is something magical about the snow, it seems to have the ability to make you want to dance in the down pour and stay wrapped up warm indoors all at the same time, what silly juxtaposition.
A little bit of fluff about the weather, you like?
