I said that I was through

When we said goodbye

I was over you,

And I wasn't going to cry

So if you see the tracks of trails

Down my face

Just keep walking by

I'm okay.

It's just raining in my eyes.

Keep going out with your friends

I'll stay home and try not to think

About you all night again

The phone keeps ringing day and night

People keep calling to see if I'm alright

I don't pick up

I let it pass by,

I'm sure they'd expect me

At least to try.

But it just keeps raining in my eyes.

Give me awhile and this to shall pass

One good thing is the past

Never last,

It's only here for a day

Then a storm blows it away.

My heart cracked like thunder

Lightning must have struck my brain

And my eyes seem so full of rain

-But I told you I'd be fine,

We both agreed on goodbye

I told you I wouldn't cry

So these aren't tears in my eyes

My eyes are just full of rain.
